El seu viatge va portar a experimentar amb tèxtils, evolucionant cap al seu estil característic i un catalitzador de la seva pròpia marca, Catherine Parra. En traslladar-se a Barcelona, va introduir la pintura en els seus dissenys, adoptant un estil totalment abstracte.
